Welcome to Ronin: Games - Cars - Gran Turismo
Ro"nin"\ In Japan, under the feudal system, a samurai who had renounced his clan or who had been discharged or ostracized and had become a wanderer without a lord; an outcast; an outlaw; Ronin.
The meaning of Ronin sums up perfectly what we are all about, a small band of road warriors drawn together by a common link, Gran Turismo. Unable to find peace within previous clan systems, our four lost spirts were wandering alone. Until now. Reunited as one equal.
We have a good partnership with the Official Playstation Community, and run online events from there, as well as in-house events from our Gran Turismo HQ. Ronin is not only a forum for GT, we're a discussion forum for all things motorsport and PC/Console games.
We encourage anyone interested to register. The only thing we ask is for people to be reasonably active if they do sign up. This is a discussion forum after all.
Lots of boards are hidden to guests, so sign up and you will be able to see a lot more of the forum, including our Gran Turismo HQ. If you are interested in becoming a fully-fledged Ronin member, do ask one of our very helpful forum co-ordinators. But for now, you can visit our forum and have a look around.

Honda have stunned the motorsport world, and have announced they are going to be racing NEW cars in the GT500 class of the SuperGT in 2010. These new cars are replacing the legendary Honda NSX, that has given Honda huge success over the last decade and more.
The new car, called the Honda Sports Velocity, HSV-010, has the same chassis as Honda's prototype NSX replacement, that they have worked on for the past two years. SuperGT regulations state that GT500 cars must be race versions of "production ready" vehicles. Therefore Honda, even though the NSX replacement is no longer heading for production, Honda can run this car in the SuperGT championship.
The video section on this page, further down, has the Honda HSV-010 testing at Suzuka very recently. For pictures and more info, click here!

Aston Martin Racing confirm their cars in the new FIA GT World Championship.
This announcement follows the news of a change to the existing structure of the FIA GT World Championship; with GT1, GT2, and GT3 classes split into three distinct championships. - The FIA GT1 World Championship is for independent teams and professional drivers. - The FIA GT2 European Championship is for independent teams and pro-am driver crews. - The FIA GT3 European Championship is for independent teams and non-professional drivers.
